I've been looking for early McCulloch advertising... "early" meaning before 1950... I've found an ad for the model 3-25 which appeared on page 263 of the November, 1949 issue of Popular Science magazine. This was, of course, immediately after Mac started producing the 3-25 in October 1949, and, knowing how art production and advance deadlines work in the magazine industry, I believe the art work preparation and placement of this ad may have been begun even before any of the 3-25's went into production. It is the earliest ad I've found anywhere for the 3-25, and may be the first one published. Mac advertised in Popular Science for years, as well as several other commonly-circulated magazines.
