McCulloch Identification

No doubt we have all stumbled as we try to ID our older Macs especially the
Mc 200, 300, 400, and 500's here the place to look
The left hand number is the model number with the serial number on the right.
In this case a 1-43
Some of these models have a prefix number ie; A12- and this pertains to a second or third model of the same saw but you need to view the Publications guide covering those years for a positive id of the saw in question.

To ID the older Mac 33, 33a, 33b, Super 33, 35, 35a, and 39
There's a numer stamped around the edge of the fuel tank opening easy seen once the fuel cap has been removed.
A lot of the seventies and later Mac's have an Aluminum tag either bolted or rivited to the inside of the airbox .... on the small consumer saw the tag is bolted on ... tough luck it the bolt on tag is gone.
On the later plastic bodied Mac's the tag is a self adhesive tag or sticker.
