Comments on the McCulloch 102 Fact or fiction not much has been recorded about this engine But whatever i can scrap together about the 102 will be posted here for future reference. Wish me luck fellas. ================================================================================== McBob, The Forgedtrue pistons Mcculloch had made for the Super Pro rods were for the 100cc and 135cc kart motors. The 135cc pistons are about +.110" oversize for your needs. Basically Mcculloch built a chrome bore 133cc Mc-101 very similar to the new 8 port Copperhead 820. Mike Savin designed the pistons for Mcculloch. I think Wiesco also made a similar dykes ring large wristpin piston for the open Mccullochs. I'm guessing the so called Mc-102 was kind of a take off on the chromebore 135cc Mc-101s, thats shown below. Tom Smith. |
